About
Who is Sara Vordermeier?
- I look after content and SEO/GEO/AEO from start to finish – the research, the structure, the actual writing, and the optimization – for clients across B2B SaaS and tech as well as local service businesses.
- I spoke at BrightonSEO in October 2025 about Uberall’s Location Performance Optimisation (LPO) framework for multi-location businesses, and I judged at the European Search Awards in 2026.
- I was a translator/editor/proofreader for the first 2.5 of my career. I worked with German clients at an agency and helped them get their English content in order.
Content & Search Strategist for 9+ Years
In this role I look after content and SEO/GEO/AEO (whatever you want to call it) from start to finish – the research, the structure, the actual writing, and the optimization – for clients across B2B SaaS and tech as well as local service businesses. Most of what I do happens in English, but I currently optimize Uberall content across five locales.
I’ve been at this for nearly a decade, moving between in-house roles and freelance consultancy. I spoke at BrightonSEO in October 2025 about Uberall’s Location Performance Optimisation (LPO) framework for multi-location businesses, and I judged at the European Search Awards in 2026.
E-E-A-T is my cup of tea – without it, the internet would be nothing but slop. I love injecting that expert human content, the customer insights, the proprietary data and the quotes in my work.
When I’m not at my screen, I’m trying to achieve vitamin D sufficiency outside – running, walking, travelling. I play netball with my local Hamburg team and write features about living abroad.
Advice For Anyone Joining The Industry
- Join the Women in Tech SEO community (or similar communities). Ask questions, look out for opportunities — and answer questions! You’ll boost your confidence, find like-minded professionals and have conference buddies to meet up with several times a year. That was the best thing I ever did for my own career.

Are you interested in speaking? At conferences, podcasts, webinars, college course, etc.
- Yes, conferences, meet-ups and podcasts — anything that gets me talking about content.
First Job
- I was a translator/editor/proofreader for the first 2.5 of my career. I worked with German clients at an agency and helped them get their English content in order.
Cool Fact
- I have a twin sister who lives back in the UK. I moved to Germany when I was 22 years old and love seeing her (and my parents) when I go back to visit. Oh, and I studied German, French and Italian at university.
Favorite Food And/Or Restaurant
- If you were pointing a weapon at my head: Thai food – I love a Massaman curry. If I were feeling indecisive, I’d just tell you I like all food, as long as it doesn’t contain lactose.
Meet my handsome lockdown buddy, Ernie. He lives with my parents (i.e. not with me) and exclusively answers to me.
