Advice For Anyone Joining The Industry

First, stay curious. SEO is constantly changing, and a genuine curiosity will help you keep up and adapt. If you can, set up your own website where you can test things out without fear of breaking anything important. Trial and error are invaluable teachers in this field.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions, either. The SEO community is pretty friendly, and many of us have learned from each other. Look for a mentor if possible—someone with experience who can share tips and give guidance. And stay proactive; SEO moves fast, so keeping up with trends and algorithm updates is a must.

Above all, be patient. SEO is a long game, but the rewards are worth it. Stick with it, keep learning, and remember: even small wins add up over time.

One of the highlights of my work at Luxury Presence was optimizing a luxury real estate website in Miami. We focused on strategies like enhancing local SEO through Google Business Profile, creating detailed neighborhood guides, and developing transactional intent pages with live MLS listings. These efforts helped us build topical authority and improve search engine visibility.

As a result, key keywords ranked in the top 3, directly leading to a $2.5 million listing from a lead who found the site by searching for “top producing realtor in Miami.”
