Eric is an educator and entrepreneur focused on improving access to educational resources for families and schools. He is the co-founder of Special Needs USA, an online platform that helps connect families of children with special needs to schools, programs, and support services across the United States.

Eric studied at Boston College and holds a Master’s degree in Education from Northwestern College and a Bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University. Over the past decade, Eric has served in K–12 education as both a teacher and school leader, gaining experience supporting students, families, and school communities in a variety of settings.

Through Special Needs USA, Eric works on expanding a national directory of special education schools and services, helping families identify appropriate programs while giving schools a platform to reach families actively searching for support.

In his free time, Eric enjoys playing tennis, traveling, spending time outdoors, and trying new foods from different cultures.

Advice For Anyone Joining The Industry

Advice for those entering the field: stay focused on understanding what people actually need. Spend time listening to the people in your industry, and try to see the challenges from their perspective. The most valuable work usually comes from building solutions that genuinely serve those real needs rather than assumptions.

Favorite Food And/Or Restaurant

It’s hard to pick a favorite but one of the best experiences I had was in Lima, Peru, at Isolina – a rustic restaurant with traditional Peruvian cuisine. The Papa Rellena – potato stuffed with meat – was a must-try!
